Community Depot: A Next-Generation Logistics Model to Address Local Challenges
At the EAMS Robotics booth, we will showcase drone models and highlight Fukushima's "Kizuna Special Zone" initiatives, including government support and local businesses. Key exhibits include the disaster-response drone "Rescue K," the Type 1 certification-pending "E600-100," and the Type 2 certified "E6150TC" with customization examples. We'll also present logistics drones and VTOL prototypes under METI's SBIR

Specialized Disaster Response Drone “Rescue K”
“Rescue K” is a dedicated drone customized for disaster response, based on the type-certified model E6150TC, which Eams Robotics launched last year.
This aircraft enables rapid aerial disaster relief operations. For example, it can deliver supplies to isolated areas and conduct environmental assessments using infrared cameras, making it possible to collect critical information and transport goods safely and efficiently in places where human access is difficult.
Moreover, Rescue K is designed for use not only during emergencies but also in everyday situations. It can play an active role in disaster preparedness training, infrastructure inspections, and even serve as a logistics solution to support local communities. In this way, it is a drone that provides value both in times of disaster and in daily life, contributing to sustainable regional operations.

A Hub for Solving Regional Challenges Together. Creating a New Way of Living through Drones. “Community Depot”
Our vision for the “Community Depot” is to create a new type of logistics hub that serves as a place where people gather and new communities are formed. Centered around this hub, we aim to foster local industries and improve the quality of life for residents.
By utilizing drones for logistics in normal times and for disaster response during emergencies, we believe this approach can promote the practical use of drones, which is often difficult to commercialize when limited to disaster response alone.
The Community Depot is envisioned as a multifunctional hub, similar to a community center, that combines logistics from multiple companies with drone delivery services. The concept includes:
Deliveries between hubs or to drone stations
Encouraging people to pick up packages at the depot, creating new flows of interaction
Revitalizing local communities and helping prevent isolation and loneliness
In addition, by leveraging drones that serve both everyday logistics and emergency relief during disasters, the Community Depot functions as critical regional infrastructure that helps save lives.
Through drones and other advanced mobility technologies, we strive to contribute to the creation of a mutually supportive local society.
