Medical MaaS & Drone

“M-aid’s Medical MaaS (Medical Mobility as a Service)” is a next-generation mobile healthcare system designed to deliver medical services directly to local communities and disaster sites. At this exhibition, we present the latest model that integrates Medical MaaS vehicles with drones, showcasing the future of a seamless medical network connecting the sky and the ground.

The Medical MaaS vehicle “MedaaS” functions as a mobile clinic capable of providing online medical consultations, remote medication guidance, and prescription drug delivery in an integrated manner. Equipped with a consultation space, medical devices, and refrigerated storage, it brings the same level of care found in urban hospitals directly to communities. In times of disaster, it can also serve as a primary medical hub, offering emergency power supply and basic inpatient facilities.

Drones further enhance this system. For blood testing using the self-sampling kit “Tasso,” collected specimens are quickly transported by drone to laboratories, dramatically reducing processing times from days to hours. Drones can also deliver prescription drugs and emergency medicines directly to patients or evacuation centers. Together, the vehicle and drones form a complementary model—“a mobile clinic on wheels plus airborne medical logistics.”

The value of this integration is especially clear in disaster scenarios. Even when roads are cut off, drones can deliver medicines and vaccines to isolated areas, while the vehicle provides on-site care for mild cases and online consultations. By combining ground vehicles with drones, the system can cover a wide range of medical needs beyond those handled by DMAT for critical patients, thereby significantly reducing the burden on disaster-area healthcare.

As a business, we are building a Medical MaaS × Drone model that bridges normal times and emergencies, in collaboration with municipalities, corporations, universities, and medical device manufacturers. In peacetime, it supports health management, pre-assignment checkups, and home healthcare; in crises, it transforms into a disaster medicine and regional relief platform. With data utilization powered by large language models (LLMs) and API integrations, this system can further expand into a decentralized medical infrastructure connecting urban and remote areas.

At this exhibition, visitors will experience the full model: from exploring the interior of the Medical MaaS vehicle, to witnessing demonstrations of self-blood collection, drone specimen transport, and remote medical consultations with medication delivery. Together, these showcase the future of medical care where the ground and the sky operate as one.
